$400 in truck batteries stolen from freightliner at Rock Hill company

— Four truck batteries were stolen from a freightliner semi-truck parked at a Rock Hill fiber glass company, police say.

A Composites One employee told police that sometime between last Thursday evening and Monday morning, someone took the four batteries valued at $400 from the white freightliner semi-truck parked at the company, 467 Lakeshore Parkway, according to a Rock Hill police report.

Police saw two aluminum plates used to cover the batteries leaning against the truck, along with various hardware under the truck, the report states.
