CLOVER — A Clover woman says her boyfriend assaulted her with an iPod Wednesday night.
The woman, 45, told deputies and Clover Police officers that her live-in boyfriend came home from work around 6:30 p.m. and began arguing with her, according to a York County Sheriff’s report. The woman said her boyfriend then threw an iPod case at her, hitting her at the top of the head and causing a small cut.
The woman said she retreated to a church on Kings Mountain Street and asked for help. EMS treated the woman’s cut and deputies escorted her to Safe Passage, the report states. Deputies arrested the man, whose name is not being published to protect the woman’s identity.
The man, 37, said they argued but it didn’t get physical, but the woman’s physical injuries convinced them to make an arrest.
