ROCK HILL — Someone wrote words all over a Rock Hill motel room after a guest’s credit card had been rejected, according to a Rock Hill police report.
An employee at the Wingate Inn on Galleria Boulevard told police that the guest had stayed one night, but the credit card she presented to pay for a second night was declined.
When housekeeping went to clean the room after the woman checked out, the report states, they found someone had used a silver marker to write on a mirror, a table and a desk, and had sprayed letters on a wall with an unknown substance.
Employees also found signs of drug use, including syringes and a prescription drug bottle in the room, the report states.
The motel estimated the damage at about $300.
