Game On Dude worked five-furlongs Sunday morning at Santa Anita Park in preparation for the $5 million Breeders' Cup Classic on Nov. 3. Trained by Bob Baffert, the 5-year-old gelding covered the distance in 1:00.40 with Rafael Bejarano in the saddle.
"He (Bejarano) said he felt like an airplane," Baffert said. "This track right now is the best it's been since we've been here. I think the rain (three- quarters of an inch on Thursday) really helped. The track has bounce to it. I should have worked more horses today."
In six starts this year, Game On Dude has won four, including the Awesome Again Stakes at Santa Anita on Sept. 29. Second in last year's Classic, the gelding has earned $860,000 in 2012 and $2,994,658 overall.
