CLOVER — Two female Clover High School students were arrested Monday for a fight in the hallway in which both dropped their book bags and walked toward each other swinging, deputies say.
Teachers had already separated both 15-year-old girls by the time a school resource officer arrived to charge them with assault and battery and disturbing schools, according to a York County Sheriffs report.
The officer spoke with one of the girls, who said that when she came out of in-school suspension, she ran into the other girl. Thats when they began arguing and eventually dropped their bookbags to fight.
The officer learned that the other girl and her sister planned to jump the girl on Friday, the report states. Mondays fight was the girls second incident within two weeks. Officials notified the Department of Juvenile Justice and took her to the countys juvenile holding facility.
