— A Rock Hill man and woman say two men held them at gunpoint, demanded money and then punched the male victim in the face when he yelled for his brother to fetch his gun.

Christian Manuel Roman, an 18-year-old homeless man, and William Braxton Bivins, 22, of 2512 Saluda Road in Rock Hill, are both charged with armed robbery, according to a York County Sheriff’s report.

A 53-year-old Rock Hill man told deputies he was sitting in his car with a 62-year-old woman outside his Joshs Court home around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday when two men went to the side of the car and told them to hand over money, the report states.

Both men had silver pistols, according to the report. The man told the gunmen that he didn’t have any money so they demanded his cell phone and wallet. They opened the car door and tried to go through the man’s pockets.

That’s when the man yelled for his brother to bring a gun from inside the house, the report states. The gunmen punched the man in the face and ran off.

Roman and Bivins were caught three hours later off Twin Lakes Road, said Trent Faris, York County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.
