Published: October 31, 2012

— Ceramic boots, rabbits and a pair of deer are all missing from a Rock Hill woman’s front yard after she told police someone came onto her property and stole her lawn ornaments Tuesday night.

The 53-year-old woman said she returned home from work to find a heart-shaped bird house worth $29, one large brown rabbit worth $19, one small brown rabbit worth $9, ceramic boots worth $21 and a pair of deer worth $80 missing from her lawn, according to a Rock Hill police report.

The woman said she’s very meticulous about checking her property everyday because of previous thefts from her home, the report states. The woman said she checked the surveillance cameras of her Ann Carson Court home, but the suspect was out of the cameras’ range.
