York Co. Council seeks public input on temp signs, fire training center

Published: November 5, 2012

The York County Council will hold public hearings and consider giving final approval to two proposals today.

The council will consider allowing bond money set aside for building fire substations to be used instead for the purpose of building a fire training center.

The council also will consider approving a proposal to allow businesses to put up temporary signs without having to seek permission from the county as long as the signs meet certain requirements.

The council will meet at 6 p.m. at 6 S. Congress St. in York.
