ROCK HILL — Two female South Pointe High School students were charged with disorderly conduct Thursday after an argument between them escalated into a brawl on a school bus.
The bus driver told police that the girls, 15 and 16, were both fighting at around 7:45 a.m. while the bus was at the 200 block of Hillcrest Ave., according to a Rock Hill police report.
The girls told officers the fight started as an argument before it escalated, with both of them throwing several punches at each other, the report states. Police saw that the 15-year-old girl had several “minor” marks on her face and neck, while the other girl, 16, suffered a small cut on the inside of her lip and scratch marks on the left side of her neck.
One of the girls was released to her aunt and the other released to her mother, the report states.
