Mo-ped driver airlifted after Rock Hill crash

Police say a Rock Hill man riding a mo-ped without his lights on was hit by a car Thursday night and airlifted to Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.

The crash happened around 6 p.m. near the corner of Crawford Road and Clinton Avenue, said Rock Hill Police Capt. Mark Bollinger.

Rock Hill police’s “Serious Traffic Accident Reconstruction” team is still investigating the accident.

The man’s injuries are unknown.
