Police: Rock Hill woman attacks girlfriend with ironing board

Published: November 26, 2012

— A Rock Hill woman was arrested on Thanksgiving after police say she assaulted her girlfriend with an ironing board.

Police were called to a Hardin Street apartment around 12:30 p.m. Thursday and met with a 28-year-old woman who said her girlfriend, 24, became upset and started to argue with her when she couldn’t find their sex toy, according to a Rock Hill police report.

The two argued for several minutes before the girlfriend threw an ironing board at her partner. The alleged attacker admitted to tossing the ironing board to the floor after both women started to fight, the report states. Her brother tried to stop the fight by pushing them apart.

Police found that the girlfriend had active warrants with the Fort Lawn Police Department in Chester County. She was arrested and taken to Fort Lawn police.

She won’t face additional charges in Rock Hill.
