Published: November 29, 2012

— A Rock Hill man told police that someone pulled a pistol on him when he went to buy marijuana.

After police searched the house, they found the possible weapon in question – a BB gun.

The 26-year-old man reported that when he walked up to a door at a Booker Washington Street house, two men in hooded sweatshirts walked out and one of them pointed a pistol at him, according to a Rock Hill police report. The gunman told the man to give up his money before the man ran.

The men chased him, but eventually gave up, the report states. People in the house told police they didn’t hear anything. Police found two bags of marijuana in a bedroom, along with a BB gun that is “possibly” the pistol used to rob the victim, according to the report.
