ROCK HILL — A South Pointe High student was caught with a knife on school property while hanging out with students who were smoking in the parking lot Monday, according to police.
Calvin Jamal Wise, 19, was arrested and issued an unlawful weapon ticket after a school assistant principal found him with several other students in the senior parking lot, a Rock Hill police report states. The assistant principal searched each of the students, eventually finding a lockblade knife on Wise.
Wise was given a ticket, while the knife was taken into school custody for discipline hearings, the report states.
