ROCK HILL — Police have issued warrants for a Great Falls man accused of punching and choking his daughter after picking her up from jail in Rock Hill Wednesday.
The woman, 19, told police that around 3:30 p.m. her father picked her up from the jail and they started arguing in the parking lot. While in the car, she said her father, a 59-year-old Great Falls man, began hitting and punching her on the head and face, according to a Rock Hill police report.
She said that when her father stopped at a traffic light, he started choking her until she started to black out, the report states. Police could see bruises on the womans arms, head and face, as well as scratches on her neck and arms.
Officers issued a second-degree assault and battery warrant for the man.
