ROCK HILL — A 60-year-old Rock Hill woman told police a man wearing a hat with mouse ears blocked her from parking in a handicap spot Saturday as he urinated near his car and then exposed himself.
The woman said she was trying to park her car outside K-Mart on Cherry Road around 4:30 p.m. but John Austin Dorsey, 56, of Rock Hill blocked her way, according to a Rock Hill police report. When she honked her horn, he turned towards her and exposed himself.
When police arrived, the woman identified Dorsey, who had gone inside K-Mart. Dorsey said he was dumped a cup of alcohol onto the ground before he went into the store. He later admitted to dumping a cup of urine in the parking lot and drinking liquor before going into the store.
Dorsey, who said he threw the cup away, reached into the trash can at K-Marts entrance and picked up the empty cup, showing it to police. Police smelled alcohol on Dorsey and saw a large spot next to his car. Dorsey was arrested and charged with public disorderly conduct. He left jail Sunday on a $260 bond.
In June, Dorsey was charged with attempted murder after police said he stabbed his friend in the head after a bottle of liquor.
