ROCK HILL — Two Walmart employees are accused of conspiring for at least a month to steal more than $500 in merchandise from the Rock Hill store, police say.
Between Dec. 1 and Tuesday, a supervisor at the Walmart on Old York Road said Kaliah Norwood, 33, and Jasmine Ward, 18, worked together to steal $570.95 in various items, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
According to the report, Ward stole $466.76 in goods and Norwood stole another $104.20.
The Walmart supervisor said they may have stolen more, and believes the total in stolen merchandise may reach $2,000.
Norwood and Ward were both arrested and charged with breach of trust. By Wednesday morning, both were still at the Rock Hill jail on $1,000 bonds each.
