Rock Hill’s Piedmont Medical Center honored Dustin Allmon with their “EMS Hero Award” on Friday--making Allmon only the fifth community member to ever receive the recognition. Allmon sprang into "hero" mode on Nov. 27, 2012 after a 3,500 boat fell on top of his friend, York police officer Lee McClellan.
