Lap Tech Industries is investing $4.5 million to expand its York County plant, adding 60 jobs.
Located in the East York Industrial Park, Lap Tech provides grinding, finishing and polishing of parts for the automotive, electronics, appliance, and metal stamping industries.
“We are excited to be growing our operations here in York County. This expansion is an important step for our company and will help us to extend our reach and meet the demands of new customers, Ramon Guzman, Lap Tech president, said in a news release.
The company will be moving into a newer, larger building to expand its precision finishing operations and add additional capabilities such as precision fabrication and metal forming. The new facility should be operational by early summer f 2013.
