I find it interesting, as well as appalling, that the government and more specifically the Obama administration are wanting to increase the debt ceiling but will not accept demands for spending cuts. So, the government wants to borrow more to spend more.

Yet, this same administration told constituents just a few years ago to be more responsible when it came to borrowing and credit cards. So, let me make sure I understand this: if I have a credit card, I should not use it to buy everything if I don’t have the cash for it. I should not increase my credit limit even when it is offered to me because it will just increase my debt.

I should pay more or all on my monthly balance so that the interest I am paying does not become outrageous. And credit card companies are to be more diligent in who they give credit and credit cards to.

Thank you, Mr. President, for telling us “do as I say, not as I do.” And thank you for pushing the country toward bankruptcy. Sorry, can't blame this on Republicans.
