Reasons our young men and women have gotten into all this trouble the past few years are:
1. The lack of discipline at home. Some of this is just laziness and some is due to the laws against corporal punishment (there’s a thin line between whipping or beating a child), not enforcing education and letting the child by with doing as little as he or she wants.
2. Our lawmakers are afraid to go against their constituents. They make laws just to keep politicians popular, such as no corporal punishment. I got man whippings, and I am glad of it.
3. Greed of the toy and game makers. If more emphasis was put on making games or toys more educational rather than on criminal acts, our young leaders of the future would be more inclined to do something useful with their lives than is now the case. But instead, there are a lot of the stealing, burglary and shooting games or toys advertised and sold. This follows the person in later life.
Those who dream up these youthful pastimes go the quicker and cheaper route.
