Justin Lee Mounce, 27, is charged with charged with criminal domestic violence second offense, according to a Rock Hill police report. He was convicted of CDV first offense in 2011, the report states.
A 29-year-old Rock Hill woman called police to her grandmothers home at Autumn Breeze Court just after noon Wednesday after she had locked herself and her toddler in a room after having been beaten by the childs father, according to the report. The couple and their child live with the grandmother, the report states.
The victim told police she was at work when the man texted her repeatedly about a pair of missing shoes. When she got home later, they continued to argue about the shoes and about her dating another man, the report states.
The man punched the victim in the eye and slapped her, the report states, before she holed up in the locked room and called police.
Police also filed a report, at Mounces request, for larceny involving the missing shoes. No charges have been filed and that case was listed as administratively closed on the report.
