— York County business leaders celebrated the opening of the new Buffalo Wild Wings in Rock Hill with a ribbon cutting Monday afternoon.

The restaurant, known for its chicken wings, beer and plethora of TVs, joins Five Guys Burgers and Fries in a new retail center off Dave Lyle Boulevard near Kohl's.

Carl Cheaney, head of Buffalo Wild Wings real estate operations, said the amount of new retail — which includes Academy Sports + Outdoors across the street and a future Sam's Club — is “validation that the market is deep. If there is enough support for retail, it will support all kinds of restaurants.”

Buffalo Wild Wings hours are 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday to Saturday and 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday.
