The Clover boys celebrated senior night and made their way to the first round of the Class AAAA playoffs with a 56-40 win against York on Friday.
The win was the third of the season for Clover over York. Taylor Hoover led the way for the Blue Eagles with 20 points. Deshaw Andrews topped York’s attack with 15 points.
Clover erased a one-point deficit after one quarter to lead 24-18 at intermission. It stretched the lead to 41-29 after three periods and coasted home from there.
