ROCK HILL — A drunk Rock Hill man who police say refused to leave a classroom at York Technical College on Monday admitted that he had whiskey that morning and wasn’t a student at the school, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
Police arrested and charged Conrad Allan Holbert III, 24, of 3291 Rings Row Drive, with public disorderly intoxication, according to the report.
York Tech’s chief security officer told police that Holbert entered one of the classrooms and refused to leave after a teacher asked him to, the report states. An officer spoke with Holbert, who the report says was “clearly intoxicated,” smelled of alcohol, had slurred speech and had trouble answering questions.
Holbert eventually said he drank whiskey before driving to York Tech. He was unsure why he was on campus or in that particular classroom, according to the report. He also admitted that he wasn’t a student.
Holbert, who was released from jail Monday on a $260 bond, is trespassed from the campus.
