Winthrop board votes in Jayne Comstock

Winthrop's Board of Trustees unanimously voted to elect Butler University and American Council on Education's Jayne Marie Comstock as the school's tenth president. Four Winthrop professors spoke to the board in a public meeting before members voted. The professors expressed concerns about Comstock's past.
