A Clinton Junior College homecoming parade scheduled for this morning has been cancelled because of the wintry weather, according to Rock Hill police.
The parade had been scheduled to start around 10 a.m. and run from City Hall to the campus on Crawford Road. A few downtown streets were expected to be closed for a short period but those streets will remain open now that the parade is cancelled, police said.
The college, Rock Hill's oldest, wraps up its Homecoming week today.
