— Police on Monday arrested a third man in connection with an armed robbery at Friedheim Park last month that left a man playing basketball without his wallet, cash and a necklace.

Kwamane Ladre King, 20, is charged with armed robbery and criminal conspiracy, according to Rock Hill Police documents. By Tuesday morning, he was still held at the York County Detention Center on a $125,000 bond.

Last week, officials arrested and charged 19-year-old Gruma Joseph Smith with the same charge, a Rock Hill Police report states. A minor also turned himself into authorities in connection with the robbery.

On Jan. 26, an 18-year-old man told police he and his friends were robbed at gunpoint after playing basketball in the park, according to a police report. As they were getting into the car, three men approached them, held them at gunpoint and took their valuables, including the first victim’s wallet, Social Security card, $1,300 cash and a gold necklace with a cross and Jesus pendant.

The other victims did not speak with police.
