ROCK HILL — A Rock Hill woman died in a single-car accident on Hollis Lakes Road around 3 p.m. Thursday.

The driver, Stephany Harrison, 32, was ejected from her car and pronounced dead on the scene, according to York County Coroner Sabrina Gast.

A stretch of Hollis Lakes Road was closed between Ebenezer Road and Heckle Boulevard Thursday afternoon because of the crash. Rock Hill Police were investigating.

Harrison was the only passenger in the Ford-150 truck she was driving, officials said.

The wreck happened close to Harrison’s home, Gast said.
