Comporium Communications has been experiencing problems with its email service for the past several days, Glenn McFadden executive vice president and chief operating officer said Thursday.
McFadden said the problem is “difficult to pin down,” and that Comporium thought it had the problem solved only for it to return.
McFadden said the problem was widespread, but he did not have the number of customers affected.
Mike Cannon, owner of Providence Environmental in Columbia said his business could receive but not reply to emails on its Comporium account. “It’s affecting my business,” he said. Providence Environmental relies on emails to send documents and pictures, he said.
