ROCK HILL — A Rock Hill man was charged with third-degree assault and battery after police say he drunkenly hit a woman with a crutch on Wednesday.
Around 8:30 p.m., a 50-year-old woman flagged down police and said Troy Williams, 42, confronted her with a crutch and swung at her, according to a Rock Hill Police report.
The woman blocked the crutch with her arm, but was still cut on her lip, the report states. Police could see the cut on the womans lip and a broken crutch on the ground.
Police arrested Williams, who they said was highly intoxicated with slurred speech, the report states.
