YORK COUNTY — The York County Sheriffs Office is looking for a suspect who reportedly stabbed a 30-year-old man during an altercation at a home on Elderwood Road Saturday night.
Deputies were called to the home just before 11 p.m., said Deputy Kim Morehouse with the Sheriff's Office.
Two Rock Hill men were injured at the home on Saturday, Morehouse said.
A 30-year-old victim was transported to a hospital with a stab wound to his upper back, she said. A second man, age 34, was cut on his right hand while trying to break up the fight, Morehouse said.
Deputies searched nearby Mt. Gallant Road and the neighborhood but say the suspect ran away from the house before they arrived.
Police are not releasing the name of the suspect at this time because it is an ongoing investigation, Morehouse said.
