CHESTER - The 23-year-year-old Chester County man who has been missing since Wednesday has not been found, police with the Chester County Sheriff’s office and emergency officials said Saturday.
Wesley McNinch was last seen near his rural home on Baton Rouge Road in western Chester County. Since then deputies using a helicopter, all-terrain vehicles and dogs have searched wooded areas, and volunteers and family members have also searched for McNinch. However, he has not been found.
Authorities have used the reverse 911 system to call nearby residents to both alert people that McNinch is missing, said Ed Darby of the Chester County Emergency Management Office.
A sheriff’s spokesman has said that police do not suspect foul play yet had concerns about cold weather at night. Anyone with information can call 911 or the Chester County Sheriff’s Office at 803-581-5131.
