ROCK HILL — A 13-year-old Rock Hill girl faces drug charges after police say she passed prescription pills to two classmates at Rebound Alternative School last week.
Around 8:45 a.m. last Thursday, police found the girl with 10 milligram dosage Ritalin pills, according to a Rock Hill Police report. While investigating, police realized the girl had passed some of the pills to at least two other students, both 13-year-old girls.
Police spoke with a school official who checked the bathroom after speaking with one of the girls who received the pills and found one of them in the trash can, the report states.
The second girl who received the pills said she flushed them down the toilet.
The girl who passed the pills was charged with distribution of methylphenidate and was petitioned to family court.
