Deputy Mark McCarter and his horse Cochise with the York County Sheriff's Office mounted patrol gave a presentation to second graders at Hunter Street Elementary School in York Friday. The mounted patrol performs crowd control duties at large community events and can search for missing persons or suspects in areas were four wheelers could not be used.
