ROCK HILL — A Rock Hill man was rushed to the hospital Sunday after he punched out the window of a mortgage company while attending the St. Patrick’s Day festival downtown, police say.
A festivalgoer told police that a black Honda just left the area with a man who punched the window of Guardian Fidelity Mortgage, causing it to break, a Rock Hill Police report states.
Another officer intercepted the car at Constitution Boulevard and Black Street, making contact with a 23-year-old woman and her 24-year-old passenger, whose arm was bleeding, the report states.
EMS arrived on scene and took the man to the hospital, where he underwent surgery. The woman told police that the man punched the window after becoming upset.
Police told the man and woman that they should contact the company’s owner to resolve the issue or charges will be pressed.
