Award-winning dance instructor and choreographer Sherri Sullivan of Rock Hill will be a judge at an Ohio contest this weekend that will include dancers from the hit Lifetime television show “Dance Moms.”
Sullivan, who owns and operates Dance by Sherri Sullivan in Rock Hill, has taught and danced professionally for more than 30 years. Sullivan’s dancers have won local, state, and national awards, she was Dance USA teacher of the Year in 2006, and she has worked with legendary dancers and choreographers including Paula Abdul.
The contest Saturday in Youngstown is the nationally-known Dance USA Performing Arts Championships, according to a news release. Some contestants will be competing in a show with the dancers from “Dance Moms.”
The show airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m.
