Police: Rock Hill man stabbed walking home from liquor store

A Rock Hill man walking home from the liquor store told police he was “jumped on” and stabbed Thursday night near Confederate Park.

Around 8:30 p.m., two men stabbed the victim and took $5 from him, according to a Rock Hill police report. Officers saw a small knife puncture on the man’s left rib cage.

The stabbing happened four days after the man’s 37th birthday, according to the report.

Rock Hill detectives are investigating the incident.
