ROCK HILL — Tickets for Winthrop University's second-round Women's National Invitation Tournament game Monday night against the Florida Gators will go on sale at 1 p.m. today at the Winthrop Coliseum box office.
Game time is 7 p.m. at Winthrop Coliseum.
Winthrop students with a valid ID can buy $1 tickets at the information desk in the DiGiorgio Campus Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday and after 5:30 p.m. Monday at the coliseum's upstairs box office at
Winthrop's women advanced to the second round of the WNIT after defeating Florida Gulf Coast 65-51 Thursday, while the Gators beat Florida International 75-68.
It was the first postseason win for the Eagles women's team since the school joined the NCAA in 1986. The win also set a record for most wins in a single season during that same time span. Winthrop is now 21-11 as it prepares to face the 19-14 Gators.
Tickets are $6 for adults, $4 for children high school age and younger and for people 55 and older. All tickets for the game will be general admission. Tickets can be purchased at the lower coliseum box office today until 3 p.m. and again from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday. The upstairs coliseum box office will open at 5:30 p.m. Monday.

Season tickets will not be honored for the WNIT game.
