Rock Hill to host community meetings on projects, budget

Rock Hill city officials are planning a series of community meetings to discuss city projects and preparations for writing the city’s next annual budget.

Residents also will be able to ask questions.

The meetings will be held at locations in each Rock Hill city ward, but all are open to any person who is interested in attending, regardless of which ward they reside in. All meetings are scheduled from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m., with light refreshments being served from 6 - 6:30 p.m.

Here’s the meeting schedule:

Tuesday: Ward 1, represented by Sandra Oborokumo; Boyd Hill Recreation Center, Gymnasium; 1165 Constitution Blvd.

April 9: Ward 2, represented by Kathy Pender; Westminster Health & Rehabilitation Center garden room; 1330 India Hook Road, enter on McDow Drive.

April 16: Ward 6, represented by Jim Reno; Fewell Park Recreation Center meeting room, 1204 Alexander Road

April 18: Ward 5, represented by Osbey Roddey; Emmett Scott Recreation Center community room, 801 Crawford Road

April 23: Ward 3, represented by Kevin Sutton, City Operations Center community room, 757 S. Anderson Road.

May 7: Ward 4, represented by John Black; Rock Hill-York County Airport, 550 Airport Road.
