Suspect runs over Belk employee’s foot with car in Rock Hill parking lot

A man “known to pass fraudulent checks” ran over a Belk employee’s foot with a car on Thursday after the store’s loss prevention manager chased the suspect into the parking lot, according to a Rock Hill police report.

The incident happened in the store’s Dave Lyle Boulevard parking lot around 8 p.m.

Rock Hill police have leads on the fraudulent check suspect, the report states. The manager declined medical treatment, according to the report.
