— A Rock Hill teenager was charged with assault after police say he attacked his sister Wednesday afternoon, causing her to fall into a DVD stand.

At about 4:30 p.m., police were called to a Friedheim Road house after a woman, 19, said her brother, 15, punched her in the face with his fist after coming home from school, according to a Rock Hill Police report.

The woman said her brother, who walked into their apartment yelling at her friends, slapped one of her friends on the back while she was sitting on the couch, the report states.

He then punched his sister in the face, causing her to fall into a stand used to hold DVDs, the report states. Another woman told police she witnessed the assault and confirmed the sister’s story.

The boy, who police say was already on house arrest for a previous incident when he attacked his sister, was charged with third-degree assault and battery and taken to the Moss Justice Center, the report states.
