Police: Drug agents find assault rifle, ammunition when arresting Rock Hill man on third drug charge

April 13, 2013

ROCK HILL - York County drug agents seized a powerful assault rifle, ammunition, money, and a potpourri of narcotics when arresting a Rock Hill man for the third time on felony drug charges, according to a police report.

Maceo Maurice Foster, 36, also faces charges of drug possession with intent to distribute near a school, after he was arrested Wednesday near Sunset Park Elementary School.

Foster faces nine charges in all, and had been arrested twice before on drug charges, police said in the report.

Police executing a search warrant at a home on Friedheim Road found nine grams of crack cocaine, more than 100 doses of narcotics and other prescription pills, marijuana, and digital scales, the report states.

Foster later was released after posting an $84,000 bond, according to York County jail officials.
