Harvey Mayhill, 70, of Rock Hill, waves an American Flag Tuesday morning from the Sutton Road bridge over Interstate 77. Mayhill said he is waving the flag to show the terrorists that they can't beat America, and to honor the legacy of his late friend, Leonard Farrington. Farrington died last year at age 89 but weaved the flag on 9-11 for years from the same bridge and the bridge will soon be named by the state in his name.
