— A Rock Hill man told police that someone shot several bullets into his house while he slept early Thursday.

The man, 59, said he heard about seven gunshots go off while he was sleeping in his Arlington Avenue home at about 1 a.m., according to a Rock Hill police report. When he walked outside, he saw four bullet holes on the side of his house near his bedroom.

Police arrived and found six shell casings in the street about two houses away from the man’s home, the report states. They found bullets inside the house. Officers asked witnesses if they saw a car pass by, but they said they didn’t see anything related to the shooting.

The man told police he doesn’t have problems with anyone in the neighborhood, the report states.

Outside the house, police found a discarded mirror from an unknown car.
