High school roundup: Clover softball team collects 18 hits in beating York

The Clover Lady Blue Eagles pounded out eighteen hits and beat the York Lady Cougars 15-0 in Region 3-AAAA softball on Thursday afternoon.

Brittany Rhinehardt, Brooke Rhinehardt, Emily Robinson, and Paige Wallert all had three hits for Clover. Elizabeth Edmunds picked up the win, which was her 17th of the season.

Clover finished the regular season unbeaten at 14-0 in region play.

After the match ended in a tie, South Pointe won by four strokes in the playoff.
