Marijuana found in glasses case at Rock Hill school

April 26, 2013

A school official found marijuana inside an eyeglass case at Rock Hill’s Phoenix Academy on Thursday afternoon, according to a police report.

The academy on Flint Street Extension serves as the district’s alternative school.

A student found the case with glasses, a marijuana pipe and about 2 grams of the drug inside, the school official told police.

Officers took the items for evidence.

The school official told police that the glasses weren’t familiar and she did not know who the eyeglass case or drugs belonged to.
