3 charged in Clover after police find drugs, weapons

— York County drug agents charged three people Friday after finding crack cocaine, marijuana, and three weapons at Clover home near a school, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.

One of those arrested has three previous drug convictions, police said.

Drug agents seized 170 grams of marijuana and 23.8 grams of crack cocaine along with the guns when serving a search warrant at 403 Bellaire Circle in Clover.

Charged with trafficking crack cocaine and possession of a weapon during a violent crime were Spechal Dominique Caldwell, 19, and Eric Anthony Adams, 24, with trafficking crack cocaine. They were also charged with three other drug offenses. Both are in jail under $55,000 bonds, according to jail and arrest records.

Carolyn Jeanette Johnson, 46, whom police say has three previous drug convictions, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and another charge because of the proximity of a middle school, according to sheriff’s reports.
