— Rock Hill Police Department detectives are investigating a daring daytime theft of at least $2,400 worth of purses from the T.J. Maxx store, according to police reports.

A pair of men “came into the store and grabbed at least 12 high end women’s purses” Tuesday afternoon at 2 p.m. before fleeing the store and then driving away in a white Mercedes driven by a third man, according to police.
