Police: Convicted felon fires shots in York

— A convicted felon barred from possessing a weapon was arrested in York late Thursday after allegedly firing a gun twice after an argument with her boyfriend, police said.

Cheryl Dawn Loretta Anderson, 41, of York, was charged with discharging a weapon inside the city limits and the gun possession charge, according to a York Police Department report.

After the argument Anderson threw the gun into some woods, the report states. Anderson told her boyfriend where she threw it, and the gun was later recovered.
