Police: Driver brandishes weapon in York

— A man from Clover police said is barred from possessing a gun from his criminal history was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly pointed a pistol at motorists in another car, according to a York County Sheriff’s Office report.

Sherman Foster Paul, 46, is charged with two weapons violations and pointing a weapon at a person after the incident on East Liberty Street in York.

The men in another car told police that they looked at Paul’s car, then Paul yelled out “Do you have a problem?” before pointing the gun at them.

Jail officials said Paul was released after posting $3,000 bond.
